Christmas Past

Last Christmas was wonderful!! We stayed home in California and spent Christmas with our precious friends, The Orgill Family. We miss you Ross & Lisa!! A few days after Christmas we went to Big Bear and slid down the mountain. We had a BLAST!! I wanted to share a few pictures. We hope to make this a family tradition each year that we live in beautiful California. Anna Clair has asked when we would go back to "snow mountain"... she is too cute.

Freeway Fender Bender

Last night, on our way to church, we had a fender bender on the 5 freeway. It was pretty scary!! In the middle of all those lanes and wham we hit the car in front of us. Jason was changing lanes and the car in front of us stopped!! We praise God that we didn't get hit from the side or rear end!!
After we hit the car - Emma Grace said, "O, my belly hurts" and began to cry. Noah said, "Are we gonna be late for church?" Anna Clair slept through the entire event.

So, after we got off the freeway and exchanged insurance information... we headed to church. I asked the kids what they thought of the car wreak on the freeway....
Noah said, "It was FUN - jerking like a roller coaster"
Emma Grace said, "It was just plain horrible!"
Anna was still asleep :)
Jason and I were thankful it wasn't a bad wreak and praised God for his protection!!!

Family Funny :)

On Friday of last week, I picked up the kids from school and Noah had checked out an encyclopedia (from the school library) - the letter L . He wanted to read about lava. He's into volcano's :) So, we're driving home and he is in the front seat reading from the book... keep in mind it has pictures for most of the words. He is reading about lots of different things.... he then begins to sound out lesions.... He said skin lllleeessiiioonnss. He said this 2 times and I said you had it Noah, skin lesions and he looks at me in fear and said WHEN!!! WHEN DID I HAVE SKIN LESIONS!!! I meant that he had sounded out the word correctly :) I laughed and laughed.

Anna Clair and I went to Walmart... we entered through the garden center. The first thing we see is small Christmas tree's. Anna Clair was so excited she said, "Oh mommy, it's Christmas"!! I said yes and let her look at them for a minute. Then we rounded the corner and saw the HUGE Christmas tree's and AC said, "Oh Mommy it's the Merry Christmas Tree's"!!! Seeing the Christmas tree's had made her day and her excitement made mine!!! She is too cute!

Recent Fires

This picture was taken at our local grocery store, a few blocks from our house.

These were taken behind the kids school yesterday.
Today the school is closed due to poor air quality.
We are all HAPPY to be home together today!!!
Amazing pictures!!!

Deer Hunting Day

Our first hunting day in California.
Jason, Noah & Jeff Romans set off
to kill a deer :)

Lots of smiles!!
They looked long and hard but didn't even
see a deer that day. Noah had a wonderful
time with Daddy and looks forward to
another hunting day soon.

No Training Wheels!!!

Daddy's removing the training wheels...

After the exciting thought/great idea to have "no training wheels" - Emma Grace realized that she may fall off her bike... and the tears began rolling before she even tired.

At Last... she tried!!

She did it!!!!
We all knew she could!!!

I love her face!!
GREAT JOB EMMA GRACE!!!
